As the leader of this cohort, I am organizing and working with other ASU graduate students and members of the American Association for the Advancement of Science to create new guiding materials for graduate students interested in doing science communication work.

After attending ComSciCon's flagship conference in 2024, another attendee and I decided to found a Southwest chapter of the organization. I am currently serving as the co-chair, and putting together an organizing team to run the conference.

An annual event bringing together graduate students and faculty to share their stories in front of a live audience.
